About Us

All Saints Pastoral Centre is a Conference and Retreat Centre owned by the Diocese of Westminster Roman Catholic Church and set in 70 acres of grounds offering a tranquil and peaceful setting for any conference or meeting.

The Centre is ideally situated on the outskirts of London and lies south of St Albans in Hertfordshire. There is easy access from the M25 Motorway and good connections from the M1 Motorway and A1(M). St Albans Thameslink Railway Station is only 4 miles away with fast connections to London, Brighton or Bedford. Both London Luton and London Stanstead Airports offer easy access to the centre via connections to the Thameslink Railway as does Gatwick Airport.

The Centre offers a relaxing and tranquil venue for conferences and meetings up to 200 delegates theatre style. Situated around a tranquil quadrangle there are a selection of other sized meeting rooms and syndicate rooms to cater for most people’s requirements. All the main meeting rooms have a projection screen on the wall and all have Wi-Fi connections to the internet. Audiovisual equipment is available for a small hire charge and there are flipchart stands in all meeting rooms.

There is a Public Address and Loop system (For the hard of hearing) in the two main meeting rooms. There is access into and within the centre for guests in wheelchair with disabled toilets and bedroom facilities available.

The Dining Room is able to accommodate up to 160 guests at one sitting and offers a choice of a hot meal or cold from the Salad Bar. Vegetarians and other dietary needs are catered for upon request.

The Centre can accommodate up to 128 residential delegates in 70 single or 25 twin rooms. There are 3 suites also available. All the rooms have washbasins and shaver sockets and there are showers and toilets on each corridor. Utility rooms are also provided for early morning drinks together with refrigerators and an iron and ironing boards.

 The Comper Chapel is available for guests upon request and can accommodate up to 300 people. There is also an Oratory accommodating up to 50 people.

The Centre has a licensed Bar that is open before meals and late evening upon request.

There is a bookshop offering a wide selection of religious books, cards, posters, music and artefacts and is open from 11.00am to 5.00pm daily. 

The Centre is built around a beautiful quadrangle, which is an ideal haven to sit and be quiet in, or the grounds are available to guests to wander in where there is a well-signed Prayer Walk, which runs through the grounds. A brochure is available showing the route and with some suggested prayers and reflections along the way
